Jewellery Care

Our plated jewellery features a layer of gold or silver applied over a base of brass or 925 sterling silver, giving each piece its beautiful finish.

Over time, it is natural for plating to gradually fade. The rate at which this happens can vary depending on factors such as skin type, frequency of wear, and daily activities while wearing the jewellery.

With proper care, high-quality plated jewellery can maintain its look for a long time. To extend its lifespan, it’s important to keep it away from moisture, sweat, salt, and high humidity, as well as chemicals found in perfumes, lotions, and cleaning products.

Materials like sterling silver and brass may also develop tarnish when exposed to air, oxygen, or sulfur. This is a normal process and can be managed with proper storage and care.

When not in use, we recommend storing your jewellery in a zip-lock bag, airtight pouch, or a jewellery box to minimize exposure to air and moisture.

For cleaning, gently use a soft jewellery polishing cloth to restore shine when needed.

To preserve the quality of your jewellery, avoid wearing it while showering, swimming, or visiting places like pools, spas, or the beach.
